I'll do my best to answer this question from my notes...
ReplyDeleteFirst, draw a clock that shows 12:30.
ReplyDeleteThis drawing should have the hour hand between the 12 and 1 while the minute hand is on the 6.
A circle's area is 360 degrees and there's 12 hours on the clock so 360 divided by 12 = 30.
Then on the drawing, under each hour, mark 30 degrees under it. Between 12 and 6 there should be 5 30s. So 30*5=150 degrees.
Next, figure out what is half of 30 because the minute hand is between the 12 and the 1 which is 15 degrees.
Add 15 degrees to 150 degrees and you'll get 165 degrees.
That's the answer : 165 degrees.
There........I did my best Mr.sorocco!!
