  1. First, you multiply 2.5 and the formula for circumference which is 2(pi)r. The product is 5(pi)r. 5(pi)r is the area so it becomes like this.

    (pi)r^2 = 5(pi)r
    Divide both sides by (pi)r
    r=5

  2. P=(Pi)r2
    (Pi)r2=2.5(2(pi)2)
    P=2.5q

    (Pi)r2 = 5(pi)r
    ------ ------
    (Pi)r (Pi)r
    ----------------
    r=5
